Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a weekend-only position in the 4NS/4N cardiac progressive care unit at Dearborn Hospital. The role involves patient-centered nursing care for adults with telemetry monitoring, caring for post-intervention and cardiac patients, and coordinating with families in care planning.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing Required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire.
• ACLS Required within 6 months.
• Graduates from non-accredited schools must have acute care experience or NCLEX passage.
• Direct inpatient care experience is preferred.
• 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Leader and health care team.
• Document education and learning in the health record.
• Plan and discharge patients with family involvement.
• Educate patients and families as part of care planning.
