Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking an RN for weekend shifts in the 4N/4S Progressive Care Unit. The role focuses on professional nursing care using the nursing process, patient-family centered care, and collaboration with the Nurse Leader to plan and discharge patients.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing with a pending Bachelors within 5 years, MI RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a preference for direct inpatient experience. Weekend schedule is 36 hours.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required on hire or after.
• BLS from AHA/ARC/Canadian Heart and Stroke required on hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care team to plan and evaluate care.
• Engage patient and family in care decisions and discharge planning.
