Job summary

Eastern Propane is seeking a customer service dispatcher to provide solutions with a positive, respectful dialogue. The role demands multi-tasking and effective management of calls and dispatches.

Schedule includes Saturday 3:00PM-10:00PM and Sunday 10:00AM-3:00PM, with on-call coordination of field personnel and communication with district managers.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in a Telephone Call Center, a high school diploma, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of telephone call center experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with requested information using application software, and assist customers to achieve total satisfaction.
• Prepare documentation for data entry; enter customer information into the computer system (payments, new account information, refunds, etc).
• Dispatch appropriate on-call field personnel to emergency services and communicate actions with district managers.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Eastern’s manuals, policies, and SOPs to address inquiries accurately and urgently.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with peers to meet the scheduling needs of the Call Center, including nights and weekends.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner.
