Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently scheduling and dispatching service and delivery drivers. You will coordinate logistics to meet customer needs and ensure timely responses.

The role requires strong organizational skills, daily travel to the Molalla worksite, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook. Experience in transportation or service industries and routing is preferred, along with solid communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in an office environment preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in transportation or service industries preferred.
• Logistics and routing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service through phone and in-person contact.
• Resolve or escalate customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions.
• Process payments and maintain customer accounts.
• Assist with light collections or billing inquiries as assigned.
• Schedule and dispatch service and delivery drivers within assigned locations.
• Maintain communication with customer service staff regarding needs.
• Monitor driver and service technician schedules to ensure timely completion and accurate invoicing.
• Track fleet location and availability and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
• Track and improve operational and performance metrics.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and submitted timely.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, security and confidentiality.
• Attend safety meetings, training and in-services.
