Job summary

San Domenico School is seeking a part-time Weekend Off-Campus Resident Life Faculty member to provide supervision and advising for students in a residential setting. The role involves weekend shifts, on-campus housing, and supporting the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of students.

The Resident Faculty serves as a role model and mentor, maintaining boundaries while building trust with students. Collaboration with the Director of Residential Life is essential to ensure a safe, engaging

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and driving clearance.
• Experience with and demonstrated interest in teenagers/teen programs; dormitory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with iPad, Mac, Gmail/Google Drive; REACH experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; provides exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and wellbeing of all residents.
• Work weekend shifts (Sat 12-6pm and Sun 12-6pm); supervise off-campus trips and on-campus presence.
• Lead boarding student supervision and weekend meal sign-ins.
• Attend Resident Faculty meetings and trainings; be on duty for opening/closing weekends.
• Follow policies, enforce rules, and manage emergencies and communications.
