Job summary

Fortress Nutrition is seeking a reliable Filler Operator for the Weekend Shift to support high-speed beverage production. You’ll set up, operate, and maintain semi-automatic filling equipment, monitor real-time readings, and perform quality checks to ensure can integrity and product specifications.

This training-focused role requires a longer ramp with Monday-Thursday sessions before transitioning to a Fri-Sun schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of skilled machine operating experience on high-speed equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and monitor system metrics.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• English literacy and clear communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask.
• Able to use computer programs to access data.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain semi-automatic filling equipment.
• Monitor real-time readings (Brix, CO2, water ratios) and adjust as needed.
• Perform hourly quality checks to meet specifications.
• Inspect cans for defects and perform seam checks.
• Track yield and deviations using yield tools.
• Maintain sanitation logs and document production in real time.
• Communicate status and issues via Slack channel.
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
