Job description

Fortress Nutrition is growing—and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, technically skilled Filler Operator to support our high-speed beverage production on our Weekend Shift. This is one of the most critical and technical roles on the production line, directly impacting product quality, efficiency, and overall output!

If you enjoy working with equipment, monitoring systems in real time, and taking ownership of a key piece of the production process, this is a great opportunity to join a team that produces high-quality products at scale.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Work 3 days and get paid for 40 hours!
  • Enjoy a consistent Friday–Sunday schedule while earning a full-time paycheck – plus gain valuable experience in a highly skilled, in-demand role.
Schedule: Weekend Shift
  • Friday – Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 3-day work week (36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours!)
Training Period (Extended – Skilled, Technical Role)
  • Training will take place during the week on Monday–Thursday
  • Focus includes: equipment operation, system monitoring (Brix, CO2, ratios), quality checks, troubleshooting, and documentation

Note: Candidates must be available to complete full training before transitioning to the weekend shift. Training schedule is flexible based on your availability.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up, operate, and maintain semi-automatic filling equipment
  • Monitor real-time system readings (Brix, CO2, water ratios) and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
  • Inspect cans for defects (damage, scratches, imperfections)
  • Conduct seam checks to ensure can integrity and quality
  • Monitor production yield and identify deviations using yield tracking tools
  • Maintain sanitation logs and ensure cleanliness of filler area
  • Complete accurate production and quality documentation in real time
  • Act quickly to identify and address equipment issues or slowdown, coordinating with Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues quickly
  • Maintain consistent communication through Slack in the Operations channel to communicate status, errors, issues, and other important production updates
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and sanitation standards
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Must operate with a high sense of urgency, focus and attention-to-detail. This role requires constant monitoring of equipment and immediate response to any deviations or issues. Missed details or delays can directly impact product quality and production output. Individuals who are not attentive, proactive, and highly engaged will not be successful in this role.
