Job summary

Zarephath is a behavioral health agency in Arizona seeking a Youth Enrichment Specialist. You’ll mentor youth ages 1–17 on weekends, in community and residential settings, helping kids build confidence and essential life skills.

You’ll lead adventures to parks, museums, and cultural events, support growth and social skills, and provide a stable, therapeutic environment where children feel seen and heard. Weekend hours include Friday 3–10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.–10 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in youth-focused behavioral health.
• 21+ years old for agency vehicle operation.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License.
• Clearances: Fingerprint Card, CPR/First Aid, TB test results.
• Tech skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Our Community Presence

We operate 2dedicated residential houses across Tucson. These homes serve as the "hub" for our youth—safe, supportive environments where healing and growth happen every day. You'll be a key part of the team keeping these houses vibrant and therapeutic.

Your Weekend Mission

You’ll spend your weekends (Friday afternoon through Sunday) mentoring youth ages 1–17. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be out in the community and in residential settings, helping kids hit their goals through:

• Adventures: Leading community outings to parks, museums, and cultural events.
• Growth: Working side-by-side with youth on social skills and personal development.
• Safety & Support: Providing a stable, therapeutic environment where kids feel seen and heard.

The Schedule

Perfect for students or those seeking a meaningful weekend role:

• Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Need to Join Us

• 21+ Years Old (for agency vehicle operation)
• 1 Year Experience in youth-focused behavioral health
