Job summary

Zarephath Community Services in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Youth Enrichment Specialist to mentor youth in residential settings and community outings on weekends. This role focuses on building confidence, teaching life skills and creating positive memories for youth who need a champion.

Qualifications

• 1 Year Experience in youth-focused behavioral health.
• 21+ Years Old.
• Valid AZ Driver's License.
• Clearances: Fingerprint Card, CPR/First Aid, and TB test results.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Our Community Presence

We operate 6 dedicated residential houses across Mesa and Apache Junction. These homes serve as the "hub" for our youth-safe, supportive environments where healing and growth happen every day. You'll be a key part of the team keeping these houses vibrant and therapeutic.

Your Weekend Mission

You'll spend your weekends (Friday afternoon through Sunday) mentoring youth ages 1-17. This isn't a desk job. You'll be out in the community and in residential settings, helping kids hit their goals through:

• Adventures: Leading community outings to parks, museums, and cultural events.
• Growth: Working side-by-side with youth on social skills and personal development.
• Safety & Support: Providing a stable, therapeutic environment where kids feel seen and heard.

The Schedule

Perfect for students or those seeking a meaningful weekend role:

• Friday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Need to Join Us

• 21+ Years Old (for agency vehicle operation)
• 1 Year Experience in youth-focused behavioral health
• Valid AZ Driver's License
• Clearances: Fingerprint Card, CPR/First Aid, and TB test results
• Tech Skills: Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook

Compensation

• $18.00 per hour
