Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Requires 1+ year experience working with clients with mental health issues.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to complete within the first 30 days of employment.
• TB test clearance.
• Must complete BHT and CPI Training courses within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine interventions based on client needs.
• Engages clients in milieu and activities throughout the day.
• Promptly prompts and assists with ADLs and room hygiene checks.
• Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers as needed.
• Ensures timely meals and supervises mealtimes.
• Maintains a therapeutic environment in collaboration with staff.
• Communicates with clinical team about client education groups and crisis response.
• Documents services, incidents, and shift notes in a timely and accurate manner.
