Responsibilities

• Assist, monitor and support daily living activities (ADLs).
• Orient patients and families to unit and hospital.
• Escort patients to tests, meals, activities and manage behavior as required.
• Record vital signs and report to RN per policy.
• Defuse crises and follow safety procedures; document observations.
• Maintain safe environment and assist with group activities.
• Perform patient rounding and document accordingly.
