Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Nurse Aide to join the Behavioral Health department in Wisconsin. The role supports activities of daily living, patient orientation, and safe patient supervision across various shifts with a monthly minimum hour requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assists, monitors and/or maintains patient activities of daily living (ADL's).
• Orients patient and family to the unit and hospital.
• Escorts patients to various locations and supervises behaviors as required.
• Performs vital signs on patients.
• Reports significant observations to the RN per policy.
• Defuses and reports crisis situations as needed.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment; follows safety policies.
• Performs patient rounding at designated intervals.
