Job summary

Beyond Behavior Consulting, LLC is seeking a weekend Behavioral Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community settings. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collect and graph data, and use evidence-based ABA strategies to teach communication and social skills.

Ideal candidates will be patient, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality while collaborating with families and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6–12 months of Behavior Technician experience or a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to use electronic timekeeping and data collection systems.
• Must obtain/maintain state and federal background clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, FBI).
• CPR Certification and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Physically able to participate in activities with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community on weekends.

Beyond Behavior Consulting is seeking a Behavior Technicianto provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in home and community settings on the weekend. This position will work one-on-one with our valued clients under the supervision and direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting and documenting behavioral data, teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for clients.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community on the weekend.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data during daily sessions.
• Graph and maintain client data as required.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies, including positive reinforcement, prompting, shaping, chaining, differential reinforcement, and token economies.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, adaptive, academic, and other functional skills.
• Implement behavior-reduction strategies safely and appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and detailed session notes using appropriate ABA terminology.
• Maintain client program materials and VB program books.
• Communicate professionally and regularly with BCBA and caregivers.
• Attend individual and group supervision meetings and complete required documentation.
• Follow company policies, clinical protocols, and safety procedures with minimal prompting.
• Respond appropriately to client crises and emergencies according to established protocols and training.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
• Promote client safety and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an individual who can adapt to changing client needs, actively engage children through play and learning, maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma/GEDand at least 6 months to a 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician OR a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, behavioral health, or a related field.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Must be able to use electronic timekeeping and data collection systems.
• Successfully submitrequired state and federal background clearances including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal History, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
• Ability to obtain CPR Certification and Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of completion.
• Physically able to participate in activities with clients, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and crawling.

Preferred:

• Coursework or education in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Experience working with children or adolescents.
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, emotional disturbance, intellectual disabilities, or other behavioral needs.
