Job summary

DiBella’s Old Fashioned Submarines, LLC is seeking a part-time Baker Associate to start early in the morning and bake our fresh Italian bread the DiBella’s way. You will also provide friendly service while preparing and serving a wide variety of food items.

The role requires baking per the Bread Manual, following daily bake par lists, keeping the bakery clean, and delivering excellent customer service during shifts with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret baking manual.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Bake bread following DiBella’s Bread Manual.
• Follow daily bake par list.
• Keep bakery clean and report equipment deficiencies.
• Utilize safety equipment to ensure crew and guest safety.
• Prepare and serve menu items according to portion guidelines.
• Set up deli products such as cheeses, meats, breads, condiments, sauces, napkins, and wrap paper.
• Prepare hot and cold sandwiches at customer request.
• Display excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of grills, deli counter, and storage areas.
• Develop a pace to handle heavy rushes.
• Fulfill all shift duties.
• Maintain sanitary storage areas meeting Health Department standards.
• Comply with Health Department Regulations.
• Willingness to increase product knowledge over time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
