Job summary

DAS Aviation is seeking a Weekend Shift Supervisor in Cedar Hill, TX to lead weekend production across Structures, Paint, Nacelle, and Composite Bond. You will coordinate daily workflows, uphold safety standards, and ensure quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced hangar environment.

The role reports to the Repair Station Manager and requires 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, English fluency, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional aircraft or component maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P license strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and fluently speak English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience with both sheet metal and composite structural repairs.
• Proven problem-solving capability and the ability to multi-task under operational pressures.
• Proficiency in typing and professional electronic communication, including emails and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal skills with dependable, organized work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervising weekend shift operations for Structures, Paint, Nacelle, and Composite Bond.
• Executing pre-planned repair operations and prioritizing workflows.
• Managing shift schedules and coordinating shop floor activities for quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinating with supporting departments for process improvements.
• Developing personnel to achieve departmental goals and conducting performance evaluations.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to shop floor personnel.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and serviceable work areas and tools.
• Ensuring proper calibration checks and accurate maintenance records.
