Job summary

West Star Aviation in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Aircraft Nacelles Technician for the weekend shift. This on-site role supports airframe components by performing sheet metal operations, reading blueprints, and working from drawings with precision.

A high school diploma is required; Airframe and Powerplant license welcome but not mandatory. You will operate shop tools, apply sealant and finishes, and collaborate with teammates under FAA guidelines to ensure safe, quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant license welcomed but not mandatory.
• Valid driver’s license or passport ideal but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (forming, drilling, riveting, cutting, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finishes.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities and tooling.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveters, shears, and hand tools.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
