Job summary

Agape Care Group is seeking an After-Hours Hospice RN to cover Friday 5pm to Monday 8am on-call shifts. This salaried, full-time position supports patients and their families with compassionate care and advocacy during off-hours.

Applicants must be an RN with 2+ years of nursing experience (hospice preferred). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours on-call nursing for hospice patients.
• Advocate for patients and communicate plans of care with the patient, family, and team.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to coordinate care and safety.
• Document patient conditions and care actions in the chart.
