Job summary

Agape Care Group is hiring an After-hours Hospice RN for weeknights to cover on-call from 5 pm to 8 am Monday through Thursday, ending Friday morning at 8 am. You will work with a 24/7 RN triage department and the local hospice team to provide compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
• Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours on-call hospice care from 5 pm - 8 am Monday to Thursday and ending Friday morning at 8 am.
• Coordinate with the patient, family, and hospice care team to ensure quality care.
• Advocate for patients and ensure compassionate, respectful treatment.
