What You Will Be Doing
  • Leading an advanced manufacturing teams in a dynamic and high-stakes environment.
  • Overseeing the fabrication of complex composite parts and assemblies.
  • Supporting multiple classified programs aligned with ADP’s long-range strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring operational excellence by meeting or exceeding schedule, cost, safety, and quality targets.
  • Providing strategic leadership to ensure optimal staffing levels and workforce readiness.
  • Responsible for overall department budgets and scheduling of assets to support program needs.
  • Responsible for build team staffing, safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
  • Required to report out and brief multiple levels of executive leadership

This position is fulltime onsite in Palmdale, CA

This position is a Weekend shift.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills
  • An LM leader at this level typically has 3-5 years of lead/management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Previous developmental production experience.
  • CAM training and/or Certification
  • Experience leading &/or implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Experience in the manufacture of advanced composites, structures, systems and coatings.
  • Previous experience with lean manufacturing, corrective action and process improvements
  • Working knowledge of one or more organizations including: Operations, Production Engineering Planning, Production Control, MRP, Quality or Systems Integration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
