The Regional Operations Supervisor oversees all facets of snow removal operations within the Winter Services Regional Division. This role includes leading and coordinating the efforts of the regional operations coordinators, as well as handling planning, organizing, and directing regional activities. Responsibilities also involve prospecting and negotiating with current and potential partners, preparing for both the pre-season and post-season, conducting audits, managing billing, and overseeing documentation for the Regional Team. Additionally, the Regional Operations Supervisor supports both the Regional Sales Manager and the Regional Operations Managers. This role is primarily remote but will require some travel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prospect, negotiate and build relationships with current and potential subcontractor partners.
- Act as a liaison for Winter Services and the subcontractor partner to prepare agreements, site assignments and equipment rates for new/existing subcontractors.
- Ensures that all work performed conforms to specifications and within budgeted guidelines.
- Establish and administer operating policy and procedures that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
- Effectively and clearly communicate with clients, vendors, staff, subcontractors, and management.
- Conduct cold-calls to potential new subcontractors and qualify them for new accounts.
- Build and maintain Subcontractor file and ensure receipt of all required forms (i.e. signed agreement, W-9, C.O.I.).
- Ensure new subcontractors provide all necessary paperwork to the office PRIOR to performing work on a customer’s site.
- Ensure the completion of required paperwork from subcontractor prior to submitting it to the clearing house.
- Monthly audit of Subcontractor files to ensure valid C.O.I. based on insurance requirements and C.O.I. expiration.
- Support/Monitor Yeti/App Systems (setup, billing, training)
- Yeti/App System - Collect all services performed after each service and review it for completeness and accuracy.
- Reach out to subcontractors that have not submitted correct information or have not verified services performed
- Handle any subcontractor pay questions and discrepancies
- Utilize industry expertise to suggest regular site enhancements to clients and identify any safety issues immediately.
- Communicate scheduling scenarios and be able to articulate business situations as they arise
- Assist with updating property site maps.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Knowledge of commercial snow removal management, management of service partners and a proven record of excelling in snow removal enhancement sales
- Ability to measure, estimate and understand service pricing structures as it pertains to snow removal related projects
- Ability to travel within designated territory and others as this may include overnight stays as necessary and possible weekend travel
- Self-starter that can manage all day-to-day activities, including schedules, on and off-site meetings and business critical deliverables
- Excellent communication skills with internal management, client representatives and service partners, both written and verbal
- Minimum of 2 or 4 year degree in related field or2+ years experience in snow removal management, landscape management sales and management of service partners
- Must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong overall computer skills.
- Highly flexible and adapts well to rapidly changing environment.
- Able to multi-task and work with pressures of deadlines.
- Strong value system (e.g. integrity, honesty).
