Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center is seeking an Admissions Representative for a weekend shift (Sat-Sun, 7a-7p). You will handle inquiries, process referrals, verify insurance benefits, and coordinate admissions with treatment teams and families.

Responsibilities include inputting referrals into internal systems, obtaining consents, and maintaining smooth communication with staff and patients. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and work well under periodic stress.
• Understanding of funding entities; basic computer literacy.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Timely processing of inquiry and referral calls.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure smooth admissions processing for referral sources, families, staff and patients.
• Verify insurance benefits.
• Input referrals and admissions into proper internal systems; communicate with treatment team regarding patient’s condition prior to admission.
• Obtain consents and admission paperwork from patient and/or family/caregiver.
