Job summary

Malvern Health seeks a part-time Admissions Counselor II for the Willow Grove campus. The role includes telephonic and in-person risk assessments, crisis intervention, and coordinating the referral and intake process.

You will work 11:00am–11:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays (every other weekend) and participate in assessments with the treating physician. Responsibilities include documenting biopsychosocial histories in the EMR, obtaining authorizations, and ensuring smooth admissions with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology or Human Services field and licensure as RN or MSW.
• Experience in clinical assessments and admission processes is preferred.
• EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess patients on admission and throughout treatment.
• Document needs, history, and biopsychosocial factors.
• Enter interview data into EMR accurately.
• Coordinate admissions and communicate with families and staff.
• Assist physicians with face-to-face clinical assessments.
• Respond to emergencies and infection control practices.
• Maintain proper unit hand-off communication.
• Prepare midnight census and other duties as assigned.
