Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Weekend Pack RN for the Cedar Falls Medical Center. This full-time weekend shift covers Friday to Sunday on a .9 FTE schedule in the 21-bed acute care unit serving diverse patients including chest pain, pneumonia, and post-surgical cases.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, supervision of LPNs and PCAs, and inter-team communication with physicians and families. Sign-on bonus up to 20,000 for applicable experience is offered.

Qualifications

• Current IA RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
