Job summary

Thrive Rehabilitation of Pearland is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Activities Assistant to bring energy and warmth to our residents. You will create meaningful moments through music, games, crafts, and conversation on weekends, supporting a compassionate clinical team.

Ideal candidates have excellent customer service, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to engage residents in group and one-on-one activities while maintaining notes and records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing home, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• Willingness to train in resident activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead group activities such as Bingo, trivia, exercise classes, and holiday celebrations.
• Spend 1-on-1 time with residents through reading or sensory activities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation (PointClickCare experience a plus).
• Help transport residents to activity areas and assist with decorating the facility for seasonal events.
