Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or related experience preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Weekend work and flexible hours as needed.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational activities, events, and outings for residents on weekends.
• Collaborate with the activities team to ensure smooth weekday/weekend transitions.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of weekend activities.
• Engage residents to understand interests and tailor activities accordingly.
• Assist with setup, supervision, and cleanup of activities.
• Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the activities department.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
