Job summary

Azria Health is looking for a positive activities assistant to help the activities team schedule and coordinate events for residents at our Woodbine facility. You will create and handle logistics for daily, weekly, and monthly events under the direction of the Activities Director.

You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills; a high school diploma is required. The role is part-time (12 hours/week) with possible evenings, weekends, or early mornings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and first aid training may be necessary.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Physical fitness to walk, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
• Flexibility to work when needed, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings.

Responsibilities

• 12 hours/week
• Housekeeping duties for the dining, activity, bathrooms, hallways, empty rooms in the IL.
• Managing the activity calendar for the SNF
• Planting the flowers outside for SNF
• Assisting tenants with paperwork as needed

Requirements for activities assistant
