Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Assistant to support daily programs for residents, coordinating recreational, physical, social, and intellectual activities in line with care plans and regulatory requirements.
You will assist the Director of Activities in developing and directing a broad schedule of programs that promote independence, engagement, and well-being, while ensuring safety and compliance with facility policies during day shifts.

Assists the Director of Activities with planning, organizing, developing, and directing quality activities for patients, ensuring that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assists in providing an ongoing program to support patients based on the comprehensive assessment and care plan, preferences of each patient, and designed to meet the interests of and support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being of each patient, encouraging both independence and interaction in the community.
Plan, organize, and direct a program of activities which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and expression and fulfills basic psychological, social, and spiritual needs which will be available to all residents of the facility.
