Job summary

Woodward is hiring Operations Technicians to support production lines on weekends, 2nd shift, at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. Role involves manufacturing, assembly, testing, or special processes using hand tools and inspection equipment to produce aerospace parts.

Training hours are 1st shift for two weeks; starting week 3, training may shift. Level 1 focuses on following procedures, quality inspections, and 5S. Level 2 expands responsibilities and process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Adheres to 5S and maintains clean, organized workstations.
• Performs inspections and tests to verify product quality.
• Follows SOPs and standard operating procedures.
• Logs daily operations and escalates concerns as needed.
• Uses basic software for data entry and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production lines following documented procedures.
• Observe key process variables to ensure quality and consistency.
• Record data, logs, and inspections; escalate deviations.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper tool storage.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals and maintain workflow.
