Job summary

ID Logistics US in Delanco Township, NJ is seeking an Inventory Clerk to partner with the site Operations Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels. You will verify orders, reconcile cycle counts, and document all inventory movements to ensure precise company records.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and familiarity with inventory systems. Weekend 2nd Shift: Fri-Sun 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, $23.50/hour plus $2 shift differential and after 90 days an additional $1.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1 year experience in inventory control or training.
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root cause.
• Manage slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested.
• Process returned shipments and classify quality.
• Ensure proper documentation is signed and filed.
• Coach during physical inventories to ensure integrity.
• Locate products within the system and adjust records for discrepancies.
• Research unique inventory occurrences to prevent issues.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Follow GMP and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe safety rules and assist enforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of the Position:

Works in conjunction with the site Operations Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels in their location. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventories. Handles all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal. Verifies all orders received and shipped and ensures that the orders are properly accounted for in the company's records. Accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. Manages and reconciles all cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage, or donate. This may include physically lifting or moving product or materials.
• Process returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory.
• Ensure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate and coach LTO’s during physical inventories or samplings as requested by the customer to ensure the integrity of the inventory process.
• Conduct any search to locate products within the system. Adjust records when there are discrepancies. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to having to lock a bay or make an inventory adjustment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Weekend 2nd Shift : Friday - Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Pay Rate

$23.50 /hour plus $2 shift differential +$1 After 90 days

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience in inventory control and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices. Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems

required.

• Skills in mathematics, personal computers (Excel) and spreadsheets are vital.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
