Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Shoreline is hiring compassionate CNAs or HCAs to care for seniors at home. This role requires a valid Washington CNA or HCA certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation for home visits in the Shoreline area.

Expect 12–40 hours per week with a pay range of $21.00–$23.00 per hour, plus benefits such as health, vision, dental insurance and PTO. Background checks are required prior to employment.

• Proof of completion or enrollment in training program is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Prepare for clients and coordinate with family or medical professionals as needed.
• Report any unusual incidents to the agency and medical professionals.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
