Job summary

Acti-Kare in Woodinville, WA is hiring caregivers immediately for weekday shifts. Must be willing to work 4-hour shifts and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington, or proof of enrollment in training program
• Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
