Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is hiring immediately for Caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs to support seniors in the Burien and South Seattle area. Weekend shifts available; other shifts may follow.

Must be licensed and insured driver. As part of a trusted in-home care team, you provide companionship, help with daily activities, and assist with mobility and personal care, aiming to preserve clients' independence at home.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of enrollment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background/fingerprint checks.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive care to clients.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, personal care, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Report incidents to agency and maintain safety protocols.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
