Job summary

Actikare is actively seeking compassionate Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) to provide in-home care for seniors in Everett. The role includes companionship, mobility assistance, personal care, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

Positions are for 12-20 hours per week, with potential to 40 hours. Competitive pay, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO and sick leave, plus free training are offered.

Qualifications

• Active WA CNA or HCA certification or current enrollment in training program.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• US work authorization (Mandatory).
• Able to read, write, and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report any incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements:

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
