Job summary

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center in Canton, OH is seeking a Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse to join our outpatient team. The PAT nurse will assess patients prior to surgery, coordinate nursing care, and prepare plans of care with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and data collection for assessment and planning.
• Develop plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions and implement plan to achieve outcomes.
• Document process and adapt care for age-specific needs.
