Job summary

Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse (PAT RN) to join our outpatient facility. The PAT RN will coordinate nursing care, assess data for nursing diagnoses, and collaborate with patients and families and the inter-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

The position emphasizes nursing judgment, patient-centered communication, and efficient workflow, with weekday scheduling and no holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrated nursing judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for PAT assessments and determine nursing diagnoses.
• Collect and analyze patient data to develop an appropriate plan of care with patient/family.
• Identify interventions to achieve expected outcomes and implement the plan.
• Evaluate patient progress and document the process with accuracy.
• Provide care sensitive to age-specific needs of patients and families.

As PAT Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.

Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse (PAT RN) at Stark Ambulatory Surgery Center

The Pre Admissions Testing Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
