Job summary

Franklin Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse PAT to support perioperative assessment and patient education for outpatient surgical procedures. The role emphasizes thorough pre-admission assessments, patient/family education about the surgical process, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other care providers.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous PAT, LPN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, including pre-operative instructions and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
