Job summary

• Follows policies of the Center and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Maintains aseptic technique and knowledge.
• Understands the needs of different age groups of patients.
• Adheres to OSHA and safety standards for bloodborne pathogens.
• Demonstrates teamwork and calmness under stress.
• Takes vital signs and documents results appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
• Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides dressing assistance and reports results and observations.
• Follows employee health and staffing policies.
• Works as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
