Job summary

YARZIN SELLA is seeking a Full Time Prep Cook in Gallatin, TN to join our culinary team. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or late nights, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and the opportunity to contribute to high‑quality dishes.

Compensation is $18–$19 per hour, non-exempt. The role requires at least 1 year of culinary experience and a Food Handler’s license. Benefits are generous, with paid holidays and stable weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related culinary experience.
• ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler’s License.
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and scale recipes and prep sheets.
• Prepare, assemble, and cook items to established standards.
• Perform knife cuts with precision and complete prep tasks.
• Prepare ingredients and components for service (vegetables, proteins, sauces).
• Safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens and prep equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards (FIFO, labeling).
• Set up, stock, clean, and breakdown workstation.
• Collaborate with Chef team and communicate needs (inventory, quality).
• Assist with inventory/restocking and maintain par levels.
