Job summary

Compass Group is hiring immediately for full time COOK positions at 1 Cumberland Square, Lebanon, TN 37087. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 8:00 pm. Prior food service, prep, grill, fryers, batch cooking experience required. Perks include free shift meal, free parking, benefits, 401(k) and educational opportunities.

Pay ranges from $16.50 to $17.50 per hour. Summary: Prepares food in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Ensures quality service at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior food service, prep, grill, fryers, batch cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
