Job summary

Embark Care is seeking an experienced Weekday On-Call Caregiver to support last-minute staffing needs across our service area. The role rewards variety, adaptability, and the security of guaranteed weekly pay, with a baseline of 40 hours at $14/hour plus overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

Hands-on personal care experience is required.
Experience assisting with transfers using lift equipment.
Dementia and memory care experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Current auto insurance and reliable transportation to office.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Assist clients with transfers using lift equipment.
Provide dementia and memory care support.
Assist with meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and daily living tasks.
Cover last-minute caregiver absences and emergency staffing needs.
Complete client wellness visits as assigned.
