Job summary

BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe role in Boulder/Broomfield, Colorado. The position supports patient care, documentation, and clinical operations in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The role requires on-site work at both locations, Monday–Friday daytime hours, and travel between sites as needed. Strong typing, communication, and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
• Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, exam rooms, instruments, and equipment for examinations and procedures.
• Document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information in the EMR.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and post-procedure support.
• Provide patients with follow-up care instructions and information about devices.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate needs to the team.
• Float among providers to maintain coverage and efficient workflows.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam and procedure rooms.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
