Job summary

BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is seeking a Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe – Float to support our providers and clinical teams across Boulder and Broomfield locations. You will combine hands-on clinical tasks with real-time medical documentation to enhance patient flow and care quality.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to varying provider preferences while maintaining HIPAA and infection‑control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, exam rooms, instruments, and equipment for examinations, treatments, and in‑office procedures.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information in the EMR.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care, including casting and DME fitting.
• Provide patients with provider‑approved instructions and follow‑up care information.
• Help coordinate patient flow and communicate patient needs to the team.
