Job summary

Boulder Centre for Orthopedics is hiring a Medical Assistant to support the care team across our Boulder and Broomfield locations. You will assist providers, manage patient flow, and help with back-office duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.

The role requires maintaining HIPAA compliance, handling patient records, and performing clinical tasks such as vital signs, injections, and minor procedures. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA diploma/certification preferred.
• One year MA experience in a medical facility is preferred; externship desirable.
• Proficient in vital signs, venipuncture, and injections.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians to deliver patient care and maintain smooth workflow.
• Manage patient records, appointments, and insurance information accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in exam and supply areas.
• Uphold HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, minor surgeries, and lab procedures.
• Educate patients on home care and device usage.
