Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and implement care plan under supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Instruct patient, family, and caregivers in therapy areas within PTA scope.
• Function in varied home environments regardless of patient demographics.
