Job summary

HELP Foundation in Ohio is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in day programs and community activities. You will provide direct care, transportation, and support services under supervision, following ISP and program protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in a care setting, and a valid Ohio Driver’s License with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Med Pass Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct daily shift coverage in the program and assist with activities of daily living.
• Develop and implement curriculum based on age-appropriate activities and healthy lifestyles.
• Transport individuals using agency vehicles to and from home and community activities.
• Document services provided and maintain required data collection.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with ISP and program protocols.
