Job summary

HELP Foundation is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults in day programs and community activities in Ohio. responsibilities include daily living support, health monitoring, and transportation using agency vehicles. The role emphasizes respect for dignity, data collection, and community engagement.

Starting pay is competitive with up to $17.50 per hour based on certifications, and benefits start after 30 days. Monday through Friday 7:30 AM–3:30 PM with no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure enrichment and learning opportunities daily for participants.
• Provide direct daily shift coverage and assist with activities of daily living.
• Develop community connections and transportation to activities.
• Administer medications and monitor health needs per protocol.
• Document services accurately and report incidents promptly.
• Assist with household tasks and program tasks as assigned.
• Follow ISP and Behavior Support Plans and participate in trainings.
