Job summary

Winder CNA Training in Georgia is seeking an LPN or RN to teach the weekday CNA program. Classes mix online theory with on‑campus hands‑on skills labs and clinical days at a partner facility. This part‑time daytime role fits nurses who enjoy teaching and working with diverse adult learners.

The instructor will lead labs, supervise clinicals, and help students prepare for the Georgia CNA exam, ensuring accurate attendance, progress notes, and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold active Georgia LPN or RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including long-term care.
• Completion of Georgia Nurse Aide Train the Trainer course (required).

Responsibilities

• Teach CNA skills lab on Watkinsville campus (Mon–Fri, 8am–3:30pm).
• Supervise students during clinical rotations at partner facility (Mon–Wed, 8am–4:30pm).
• Check off skills and document progress via testing and evaluations.
• Prepare students for Georgia CNA state exam (written and skills).
• Maintain attendance and hours records as required by the State.
• Communicate clearly with students, clinical staff, and office team.
• Keep the skills lab clean, stocked, and in working order.
• Record hours by deadlines.
