Job summary

Winder CNA Training in Watkinsville, GA, seeks a PRN LPN or RN Nurse Instructor to deliver CNA instruction per the approved curriculum. The role combines online blended learning with 40 hours of classroom skills/lab instruction and 24 hours of clinical site evaluations.

Instructors must engage a diverse student body, document progress, and coordinate with clinical facilities. Employment is contracted per class and pays on an hourly basis, with hours roughly every two weeks as new cohorts begin.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not have current disciplinary action.
• At least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in Long Term Care.
• Upon hire, complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session.
• Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Flexibility to work days, and eventually nights/evenings on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the American Red Cross Blended Learning Program Skills Manual.
• Build knowledge and develop clinical skills to help students obtain the CNA license.
• Maintain accurate records on all students, attendance, schedules, and course requirements.
• Evaluate and document students’ progress through testing, observation, and skill assessment.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff at clinical facilities, school staff, and prospective employers.
• Provide a stimulating environment that encourages participation and patient care concepts.
• Maintain a monthly timesheet and submit by deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.
