Job summary

Winder CNA Training in Georgia is seeking an LPN or RN to teach our evening CNA program. Classes run online for 9 evenings from 5pm to 9pm, with 3 weekday clinical days from 8am to 4:30pm at a partner facility. Each class lasts 3 to 4 weeks and prepares students to pass the Georgia CNA exam.

This role is ideal for a nurse with long‑term care experience who enjoys teaching and wants steady part‑time evening hours after a day shift. You will assess progress and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia LPN or RN license with no current disciplinary action.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in long‑term care.
• Completion of Georgia's Nurse Aide Train the Trainer course before teaching.
• Available weekday evenings (5pm–9pm) and 3 weekdays for clinicals.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNA skills lab on Watkinsville campus (9 evenings per class, 5pm–9pm).
• Supervise students during clinical rotations (3 weekdays, 8am–4:30pm).
• Check off skills and document progress through testing and evaluations.
• Prepare students for the Georgia CNA state exam (written and skills).
• Maintain attendance and hours records as required by state authorities.
• Communicate with students, clinical facility staff and office team.
• Keep lab equipment stocked and labs in working order.
• Record hours by required deadlines.
