Job summary

The Nurse Instructor will deliver instruction per the curriculum, support diverse learners, and conduct clinical site evaluations. Employment is contracted per class, with negotiable hourly pay and banked hours for each

Qualifications

• Active Georgia LPN or RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, at least 1 year in Long Term Care.
• Must complete Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session upon hire.
• Ability to perform physical work with patients and students.
• Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
• Flexibility to work days, and potentially nights/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the program materials.
• Develop students' clinical skills to help obtain CNA license.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, schedules and hours of instruction.
• Evaluate and document student progress through tests and assessments.
• Communicate effectively with students, clinical facilities, staff and employers.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes patient care concepts.
• Maintain monthly timesheets and submit on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.
